Sigma was an edification of belief, put to work on human advance and service. Sigma was destruction and reconstruction, eternally powerful, so powerful he could never use his abilities. He wasn’t allowed to have a will, because as the son of a God only he could understand, born so distant and different from humanity; yet raised under their wing: Who was going to buy that this child could save us all?
Generally, humans don’t create definite solutions; curiously a deprecated image of them as a mass leads to the consequence of everything they can comprehend is per se deprecated as well. Strangely enough, no matter how far they go, how amazing and astonishing their discoveries become, they tend to lie aside the adoration of a messiah; at least a divine creature to explain what they can’t yet understand; As if they were borrowing their knowledge only for it to be returned, in exchange for salvation.
